You will be provided with a discharge instruction sheet which will tell you how to care for yourself at home.
At home, it is not unusual to feel slightly sleepy or dizzy after receiving anesthesia.
We recommend that you go straight home and rest in bed. Plenty of rest is helpful for a speedy recovery.
Be sure to follow your doctor's specific instructions about rest, medication, and diet.
You will be telephoned a day or so after surgery by our nurse to see how you're feeling.
If you have any problems you should first contact your doctor. If you are not able to contact your doctor, feel free to call us at 479-527-0050.
Your doctor will give you a follow-up appointment to see you in his/her office.
You will be given a questionnaire at the time of discharge. Please complete and return it so we may identify any areas of opportunity to serve you better.
